		<description>wow. did it ever occur to you that sometimes someone&#039;s current title doesn&#039;t reflect their entire background? Take Maria Klawe. She has PhDs in math and computer science, has spent eight years in industry (including being a research scientist at IBM), served as head of the Computer Science department at the University of British Columbia, and holds countless publications in algorithms research. Interestingly enough, what she _doesn&#039;t_ have is a business background. I don&#039;t know about all the others, but I imagine you&#039;ll find some more backgrounds in technology and computer science.</description>
